Sandro R. Tuzzo is an associate in our Family Law Department
Mr. Tuzzo graduated magna cum laude in psychology from The University of
California at Davis. He served as an associate editor of The West/Northwest
Environmental Law Journal while completing his Juris Doctorate at the University
of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. During law school,
Mr. Tuzzo held summer positions with the District Attorney and the California
Office of the Attorney General, where he managed complex trial preparation for
cases in both criminal and administrative law. Mr. Tuzzo established his own
practice in 2002, specializing in family and juvenile law.
In addition to significant litigation experience, Mr. Tuzzo has extensive
training and experience in the field of alternative dispute resolution. Having
completed trainings at U.C. Hastings College of the Law, The Center for
Mediation in Law, the Northern California Mediation Center, Community Boards of
San Francisco, as well as several local bar associations, Mr. Tuzzo serves as a
certified mediator for the San Francisco Bar Association and Community Boards of
San Francisco. Furthermore, he is a mediation trainer at Community Boards and a
guest lecturer in mediation at Hastings College of the Law. Mr. Tuzzo was a Sloan Fellow at the Center for Mediation in Law in Mill Valley,
California, where he worked on advanced mediation technique with other
distinguished mediators and trainers in the field.
Mr. Tuzzo is a member of the Family Law Section of The Bar Association of San
Francisco, The Association for Family and Conciliation Courts, The Association
for Conflict Resolution of Northern California, and is a member in good standing
with The State Bar of California..
