Matteo, a native of Genoa, Italy, also provides advice in international matters involving U.S. and Italian interests. As a founder of BAIA (Business Association Italy America), he is familiar with many issues faced by Italian entrepreneurs, investors and companies in the Bay Area and enjoys access to a network of valuable contacts. Prior to joining LPS in 2001, he worked as corporate and securities associate in Irvine, California and, before that, worked for Chief Justice Charles Springer at the Supreme Court of Nevada, and for the Legal Department of the National Association of Securities Dealers in Los Angeles.

Matteo has received a bachelor's degree in Economics from Pepperdine University in 1996; a Certificate of Distinction in English and European Law from the London School of Economics in 1998 and a law degree from Pepperdine University in 1999. He became a member of the California Bar in 1999.
