Kenneth R. Wachtel handles general civil litigation matters and specializes in the areas of
land use, banking and real estate law.
He also has extensive experience in employment matters, loan work-outs and bank
regulatory compliance as well as experience in toxic and environmental tort and
asbestos defense litigation.
Ken is a 1973 graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and a 1976
graduate of the University of California, Boalt Hall. He has lectured for the
California Banking Association on banking and employment law. After five years
in the legal department of a major California bank, Ken joined the firm in 1982.
He is also a civic leader. Ken was elected to and serves on the Mill
Valley City Council.
Ken
is also on the board of the Richardson Bay Regional Authority, the Marin County
Joint Powers Authority Oversight Committee and Marin County Community
Development Block Grant Program. He had previously served on the Mill Valley Planning
Commission.
