Mitchell Chyette is an accomplished trial attorney who has been representing sophisticated businesses and individuals on both the plaintiff and defense side for over twenty years. His practice covers such diverse areas as insurance coverage, trade practices/antitrust, real estate, construction dispute, shopping center leases, and contract disputes. He successfully conducts jury and non-jury trials, presents cases to the state and federal courts of appeal and argues before various administrative agencies.
Mitch is a 1979 cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, where he was one of the editors of and an author in the University of Michigan Journal of Law. Mitch is a judge pro tem in the Alameda Superior Courts and a member of the Early Settlement Program panel for the Bar Association of San Francisco. He is a member of the Litigation, and Antitrust Sections of the American Bar Association.
He is also the President and Chairman of the Board of an independent school in Oakland, California.
